Life in the Desert

The poor and needy search for water,
but there is none;
their tongues are parched with thirst.
But I the LORD will answer them;
I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.
I will make rivers flow on barren heights,
and springs within the valleys.
I will turn the desert into pools of water,
and the parched ground into springs.

~Isaiah 41:17-18

That's a great verse, for literal and spiritual water, both. =)

Hey Penelope!

I just saw you won over at Confessions of a Homeschooler. Imagine my surprise when I saw a familiar face on the random generator!

Congratulations! Enjoy the digi calendar.

Thanks for entering my giveaway!

I'm so glad I clicked over! I love to see adoption stories! We lived in S. Africa for 3 years working with orphans affected by the AIDS pandemic. We might be going back there but we just came back to the states to take a sabbatical. Thanks for sharing the video, too! There's definitely life in the desert!
