We usually read a few stories to wind down before naptime, but I guess she couldn't wait. Poor little thing must have been more tired than usual. A child who puts herself down for a nap: priceless.

This is new
Naptime is just after lunch in our house. Today, Alexandra was done eating and I was waiting for Josiah to finish when I realized that it was very quiet. She had gotten down from the table, cleared her plate and cup, went potty, and then disappeared upstairs. Much to my surprise, this was what I found curled up in bed:
