Happy 80th Birthday, Grammie!

Today was a wonderful, busy day filled with laughter, water, and fun. Josiah and Alexandra spent about two and a half hours in the pool today. They had a blast, as did my mom (aka Grandma) that was swimming with them. We played games and just in general had a great time.Last year at my Papa's 80th birthday we got t-shirts for everyone and we thought we needed t-shirts this year too. Grammie is the crossword queen, so we decided to use that theme for her t-shirt. Here is Amy unveiling our creation:
Josiah didn’t nap during nap time and only got about half an hour of sleep. When we woke him for dinner, he was one cranky little man. And dinner was a special one, we were celebrating Grammie’s (my mom’s mom) 80th birthday.

We made Grammie, who loves puzzles, a puzzle using pictures of the whole family. She was very surprised and loved the gift.



After Josiah woke up and became uncranky, we had a very good time. Now it’s off to bed and a new day of fun in the sun tomorrow.
