Hooray, we have our embassy date; it's January 23th! For those of you who don't know, this means we can travel... in mid-January!!! We will be arriving in Addis Ababa on January 20th! In about three weeks, we will be with our little ones!
*realizing she's ended each sentence with an exclamation mark* As you can tell, I'm more than a little excited! I hadn't quite let myself get excited because I didn't want to get my hopes up. I think now, with a successful court date behind us and tickets reserved (and almost booked), I think it's safe to say that these precious little ones are coming home! Time to break out those lists and get to work!

I've been out of town until last night; with trepidation I checked your blog to see what came of Friday's court appointment. What great news--court success and an embassy appointment! The babies are adorable, hopefully the next few weeks will fly by and you will find yourself in Addis before you know it! Congrats, we are thrilled for you guys!

soooooo....per Duni's email today, looks like you guys and us will be in Addis for several hours before the other 3 families - so it will be fun to meet up with you guys and maybe greet the other families at the Hilton when they arrive...of course, maybe we'll be sleeping - haha!
i hope list-making, packing, and getting ready is going well! we are so excited to read about your journey. we're praying for you even as you prepare. it is coming soon, i'm already excited for pictures!
