We're Done! The Paper Chase is Over!

143 days, 112 pages of documents, 4 sets of fingerprints, 1 house purchase, and countless hours, we are done! We sent off our dossier, all our documents notarized, county certified, and state authenticate, to America World yesterday at 1:24pm. In a short while after the dossier is certified by the US, it will be forwarded on to the Ethiopian Embassy and then to Ethiopia!

The next step may, by comparision, prove easier. We wait. We wait for the Ethiopia government and America World to work together (or more correctly, we wait for God) to select children for us. We then will receive the referral call. This is where the agency says that they have children waiting for us. They give us their history and we then decide if we want to accept or decline the referral. How long will all this take? Only God knows, but it will happen in God's perfect timing.
